| The 2001 Blanc du Val, which translates to White of the Valley,
is a blend of French Colombard, Malvasia Bianca, and Chardonnay
and is a light, refreshing white wine. It was pressed and cold
fermented in stainless steel tanks and has a slight sprtizer effect.
Blanc du Val is best enjoyed chilled with cheeses and hors d'oeuvres
at the beginning of your warm afternoon or evening. The 2001 Blanc
du Val recently received a GOLD MEDAL in the 20th Annual West
Coast Wine Competition held in Santa Rosa. The results of these
competitions can be viewed online at www.vwm-online.com. |
